Who We Are
The Midnight Comedy Troupe is Cornell’s resident dark comedy sketch group. As a troupe, our key function is to discuss, write, perform and produce sketch comedy, but, more importantly, we are a group of comedy-lovers who share a goal of making people laugh. The troupe before all else protects and maintains an inclusive and nonjudgmental team environment. Through our writing, we hope to facilitate a discussion where members can freely share their thoughts and feelings on comedy and life – which hopefully extends into the Cornell community during our shows!

Midnight Comedy is Cornell’s resident dark sketch comedy group. Every semester we write, act, and direct an all-original sketch comedy revue.
Why Dark Comedy?
It’s very easy to get overwhelmed with the stress of being alive. We aim to use our anxieties about the world to create comedy that alleviates and addresses these concerns – and hopefully laugh ourselves into a false sense of security in the process.
